Center for Asian American Media -
"The Center for Asian American Media (formerly NAATA) is a nonprofit media arts organization dedicated to: informing and educating the general public about the Asian American experience through film and public television; advocating for increasing the presence of Asian Americans and the accuracy of the portrayals of them in mainstream media; exhibiting Asian American films and videos on public television and during our annual San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival; funding Asian American projects and filmmakers; and distributing their work to schools, universities, libraries and community groups around the country.

Southeast Asian Archive Newsletter -
The UC Irvine Southeast Asian Archive Newsletter is put out quarterly. It contains news of the Archive's acquisitions,  donations to the Archive, and events in the UC Irvine Southeast Asian Community, as well as the occasional essay or profile. This online magazine gives up-to-date information on what's happening in the former Portuguese colony of East Timor. (East Timor International Support Center)

Waugh's Central Asia -
The purpose of this website "is to provide information and images of general interest to those wishing to learn about and/or travel in Central Asia." Although the author is an academic, "most of the material has no 'scholarly' pretensions.... The information should be reasonably  well-informed; however,  serious scholarship on the area requires another level of expertise and commitment, among other things, knowledge of the local languages."
